Hi there! I’m Megan.
I’m a journalist, editor, and video host, and I’m interested in how food intersects with place, identity, and philosophy. My reporting has appeared in The Cut, Bon Appetit, BBC, CNN, and Conde Nast Traveler, among others.
I was previously a staff editor and video presenter at America’s Test Kitchen in Boston. As a senior editor at SAVEUR, I wrote the breakfast-themed column Rise & Dine, the culture newsletter With Relish, and many features (including an IACP Award winner).
Before that, I wrote and presented the television docuseries Travelogue: Exploring Hidden China, for which I traveled all over the country documenting its folklore, cultural traditions, and food.
I received my M.A. in Arts & Culture Journalism from Columbia University and B.A. in Journalism and Psychology from New York University.
I’ve backpacked through 30+ countries and have a deep love for folding dumplings, eating bitter chocolate, and hiking near the ocean.
